Merry New Year to everyone!!! Been very busy since my drive from Utah visiting friends and family. My first overnight stop was in Milwaukee to visit a long time friend, when I woke the grounds were filled with about 10 inches of snow and not the nice fully stuff I became used to in Utah. This was the wet and heavy stuff that I started to despise when I first started to dive way to many years ago. Another thing I have noticed is that aside from my friends and family (well, most of them) I have NOT missed living in the mid-west at all. New tire, auto insurance paid & plates renewed

My thought process or lack of such a process led me to believe making new posts would be pointless if not about the Philippines. It is for this reason, along with time but mostly the former is why posts have been a bit slow. My new thinking suggests it could be about anything, after all “me” is in the URL… Read more

Learning to talk

Considering my C average in English class during my high school days my teacher Mrs. Lomax will be quite interested on how I do in learning to talk Tagalog. The Philippines has many different dialects, my understanding is Tagalog is the most common although there are others very close behind. For those who might be moving someday to the Philippines or currently living in the Philippines feel free to check back here often as I will post my progress and new words as I learn them. Everyone else should check back just to learn a few bad words in another language if I post them. … Read more
