Busy weekend, sports and business

For someone like me that enjoys doing nothing I sure have been busy. NFL football took three dedicated hours today. The Bears did win, even so their coach is still Sleepy. The last couple of days I have been reading many Blogs about the Philippines and about blogging itself. Sadly I spent less then ten minutes studying my words, just like my school days I can rationalize quite well why I have not studied. Some skills I guess are never lost. Been busy as stated but the real reason quality studying has yet to occur is because it would be more beneficial to hear the spoken word before they are set to my memory, if that is even possible. Recently a local to the Philippines has agreed to help me learn, she supplied the list to begin with. Soon she, Alma will supply me audio files of the words and then the real learning will begin. … Read more

Considering my C average in English class during my high school days my teacher Mrs. Lomax will be quite interested on how I do in learning to talk Tagalog. The Philippines has many different dialects, my understanding is Tagalog is the most common although there are others very close behind. For those who might be moving someday to the Philippines or currently living in the Philippines feel free to check back here often as I will post my progress and new words as I learn them.
